Marketek Consulting Overview

Marketek's mission is as simple as the world of web search engines is complex. We show you how effective your current online marketing is and how to get more traffic from the major search engines! We start with assessment, then move to training and implementation. We provide a mix of training and implementation using search engine optimization and pay per click advertising on search and content sites.

We will then put together an integrated program that uses web analytics to evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

We like to start with an assessment up-front of your current program. We want to make sure there's realistic potential for a positive return on investment. In the challenging economy of 2009, it is more important than ever to provide an appropriate mix of both implementation and of training so you can "do it yourself" long term.

Sometimes companies want to completely redo their web site. We can assist with web site planning: we help outline goals and marketing requirements, then partner with external or internal designers, programmers, webmasters and others. We build on our experience at Microsoft and Wharton MBA. We will celebrate our 12th anniversary in June, 2009.

Stuart Jenner, Principal of the Marketek Consulting Group, speaks regularly on search engines and search marketing. Talks have included the Search Engine Strategies travel conference in 2007, the Adventure Travel World Summit (2005 and 2006) as well as a webinar in 2009, and the Seattle Direct Marketing Association's DMA World in 2005 and Marketing to the Max conference in 2009. These talks were very well-received:

"Stuart's in-depth understanding of search engine marketing and online marketing allowed him to bring out the best in the panelists, he was effective at keeping them focused on the topic at hand, and he facilitated a great dialogue between the panel and audience at DMA World 2005."

Mike Daves, President, Seattle Direct Marketing Association (sponsor of DMA World held in Seattle)

Marketek supplies a primer on search marketing to members of the Adventure Travel Trade Association. Murray Bartholomew of ATTA writes:

"I would like to say 'thanks' on behalf of ATTA. We have valued your repeated updates and commitment to the Search Engine Optimization Business Primer. It is an important topic and you present a good first glimpse at the topic."

Bridge Photos

The internet is a bridge between people. Search engines are a tool that enable the bridge called the internet to work.

Throughout this site, you'll see pictures of bridges from around the world. These bridges serve as a metaphor for search engines, reminding us of the way they connect people to other people via the internet.
