In today's challenging economy, return on investment is critical. Web analytics, search engine optimization and paid ads are mission-critical: a company's overall success can depend directly on how well a company uses data obtained from its web site visitors, and how well it optimizes and uses paid ads.

Our goal at Marketek is to assist companies with a mix of guidance and implementation using search engine optimization and pay per click advertising on search and content sites. We also provide training on analytics or can conduct an analytics review. We serve clients throughout the US from Seattle. With search engine optimization, we start with a realistic assessment of how well a company is already doing in the engines. Is there room for improvement? We use several different sources to create a benchmark, identify opportunities for improvement and develop a list of recommendations. We then create an implementation plan, typically using a mix of client resources and our own time.

With paid search ads, we assess where the money is going (if you already have a paid search campaign) and identify opportunities to increase advertising efficiency. Or we can help companies that have not advertised with paid ads to evaluate whether the benefits of advertising are likely to exceed the total cost.

You can think of us as a "buyer broker." There are times when optimization and pay per click are not in your company's best interest. We will tell you so up front. This is very different than a stereotypical agency approach that says "we sell this service, so everyone needs it."

If appropriate, we can put together an integrated program or can develop a plan for stand-alone optimization or stand-alone paid ads.

In any case, we use web analytics to evaluate outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. We can help in setting up ongoing analytics reports or conduct one-time assessments. These may be particularly useful when you are considering re-doing your web site, are evaluating your marketing spending or want perspectives on your web site's effectiveness.
